Instructions :

  1. Preheating: Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F).

  2. Preparing the kale: Wash the kale leaves thoroughly and dry them completely using a clean cloth or absorbent paper. Remove the central leaf stems and tear the leaves into similarly sized pieces.

  3. Seasoning: In a large bowl, toss the kale pieces with the olive oil. Make sure to coat each piece well.

  4. Additional Seasoning: If desired, add a pinch of salt and seasonings of your choice to enhance the flavors. Paprika, turmeric, or nutritional yeast are great options for an extra boost of flavor.

  5. Distribution: Arrange the seasoned kale pieces in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Don't crowd them to get crispy chips.

  6. Bake: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and cook the kale chips for about 15 to 20 minutes, turning halfway through cooking. Watch carefully, as kale can brown quickly.

  7. Crispy Cooking: The chips will be ready when the edges of the leaves begin to crisp and lightly brown.

  8. Cooling: Once cooked, remove the kale chips from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet. This will allow the chips to harden further.

  9. Tasting: Once cooled, your crispy kale chips are ready to be enjoyed. Serve them in a bowl and enjoy them as a healthy and indulgent snack.
